Welcome to the 2025 Zone 4 Seniors Summer Tour!

We’re excited to launch our first season using Golf Genius to manage registrations and events. To participate in the Zone 4 Seniors Summer Tour, players must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be a member of a Zone 4 club or a resident of Zone 4
• Hold a Golf Canada membership

Event Details

• Registration Fee: $105 per event
• Field Size: As outlined for each individual event (limited spaces available)
• Age Requirement: Minimum age is 55
• Handicap Requirement: Maximum Handicap Index of 25.0
• Rules Requirement: Completion of the Level 1 Rules of Golf course, available here is strongly recommended for all participants - it's an essential foundation for anyone competing. Please update your Golf Genius profile once completed.

Each event entry includes:

• A meal or snack
• Golf ball prizes based on your placement within your flight

Registration Process

Players must register through Golf Genius using their Golf Canada Score Centre login.
Registration opens April 1st, and you may sign up for all events at that time. Early registration is highly encouraged to secure your spot.

Provisional Seniors

To allow more golfers to experience the Tour, we welcome Provisional Seniors (age 50–54) in events where space permits. While they are not eligible for prizing, they may receive a token of appreciation from the committee.

Divisions & Prizing

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Overall Low Gross and Overall Low Net
• Top three Gross and Net scores in each flight (typically three flights in full-field events)

Each tournament features 9 to 11 dozen TaylorMade golf balls distributed across flights.
The Top 20 Overall Low Gross players in each event will also earn Order of Merit (OOM) points toward the season-long Derek Glazer Player of the Year award.

Zone 4 Senior Championship & BC Senior Qualifying

By popular request, the Zone 4 Senior Championship will now be held over consecutive days in May.

• Entry Fee: $210
• Field Limit: 128 players, with a cut to the low 60 and ties after Round One
• Age Requirement: Minimum age is 55 by September 9th, 2025
• Location: Beach Grove Golf Club and Shaughnessy Golf Club

The Top 3 finishers in the Zone Championship will form the Zone 4 Team for the BC Senior Championship.
In addition:

• The Top 20 and ties (not otherwise exempt) from the 36-hole championship will qualify for the BC Seniors.
• Two additional qualifiers will be selected from the Sunshine Coast and Riverway events.
• Any remaining allotment will be awarded at the discretion of the committee.
